Cedar Creek Gallery’s National Teapot Shows have a history of drawing a sizeable national audience of collectors, press, and visitors who view the shows in the gallery and online. Anticipation for Cedar Creek Gallery's National Teapot Show XII has already begun to grow.

Started by potters Sid and Pat Oakley in 1968, Cedar Creek Gallery is more than a gallery.  With over ten onsite potters and glassblowers, we are a community of both artisans and people dedicated to maintaining the culture of craft.   Our guiding principles are based on representing the highest quality craft, supporting artisans and exposing the public to the joy of fine craft. 

Sid Oakley's idea to host the first National Teapot Show was born to highlight a diverse range of artists tackling the design challenge of a common theme, whether the form built upon years of honing the details of functional pottery or evolved from a conceptual idea into a purely sculptural piece.
