Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, Maine will be hosting the Open Studio artist-in-residency program for the third time in 2015. For two weeks, each craft studios (ceramics, fiber, graphics, iron, jewelry, and wood) to develop ideas and experiment in various media. Approximately 50 creative artists will be working together!

I will be serving as a studio assistant in the ceramic studio during the residency. Not only helping the artists, but also I will be watching, learning, and sharing the ideas, methods, philosophy, and exciting time together. This is an exciting opportunity for me and I am grateful that Haystack staffs trust me for the privileged position.

The residency is not open to public, but I will report back how this experience changes me on the blog section of the website when I come back.
