Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Montana, was founded in 1951. Ever since then, they have been hosting a wide variety of residencies for ceramic artists and supporting the clay community relentlessly.
I am awarded an opportunity to stay and work there for about 5 weeks from September to October in 2015 as one of the short term residents. This will be my first time to visit Archie Bray, which was on my dream list. My residency proposal is to explore medium scale porcelain sculptures, away from the pottery wheel while I am there. This will be a great adventure, I appreciate the foundation for giving me the opportunity. The reports of this residency will be posted on the blog section of the website, during and after the residency.
